Montclair Operetta Club, Inc. ~ M.O.C. Musical Theatre

Our parent organization. Check them out! M.O.C. is the oldest continuously operating amateur theatre company of its type in the United States. It has been producing high quality community theater in New Jersey continously for over 84 years. Currently, they produce two full-scale musical productions per year. A Season of Growth

The theme the 2010-2011 season is "Growth".  For MOC, we will grow by presenting two musicals that we've never done before.  In Company, Bobby grows as he figures out his life.  In Gypsy, we watch Rose grow as her mother pushes her into vaudeville.

Please join us as we celebrate the 80th birthday of theatre legend Stephen Sondheim with the presentation of two of his most notable shows.

The Montclair Community Band

The Montclair Community Band was formed in 1982 to provide an opportunity for amateur musicians to rehearse and perform challenging band music. Membership in the Band is open to any adult who plays a band instrument and to accomplished high school musicians. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings in the Montclair High School Auditorium from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. There is no audition, and newcomers are always welcome. Please call Band Manager Barbara Rudy at 973-744-1454 if you are interested in joining!
